SkyHack Labs was founded in 2025 to answer a simple question: How do you stop a drone? Billy, the company director, had seen the devastion caused by drones of all shapes and sizes throughout the Russia-Ukraine war and how drone technology was shaping the battlefield. With the proliferation of cheap drones, any actor (state or non-state) could gain an asymmetrical advantage previously only available to first world militaries.

SkyHack Labs performs security research on drone technology to determine where potential weaknesses may lie, and how defenders could leverage this to eliminate the overwhelming advantage attackers with drones currently have. Just as a penetration tester learns from real-world cyberattacks and the tools, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) of nation-states, we too observe and replicate drone TTPs of real-world actors to better understand how they could be countered.

Though our focus is on drone technology, our years of penetration testing and security research experience assist our customers in understanding and mitigating cyberattacks that could affect their environments.
